Why FX and Interest Rates?
I enjoyed trading but realised that the bit I found really interesting was understanding the different personalities that make the sector tick. It takes a special kind of person to succeed in FX, and my job is to work out where they fit best. It's what I'm best at.

Why are you called Hovis?
Because some Muppet on the spot desk at Harlow's thought that Wigan, where I'm from, was where Hovis bread was made! The name has stuck ever since.

If you weren't in recruitment, what would you be?
A chef.

What's your golf handicap?
5.

What's been the lowest point in your golfing career?
Leading the Marshall Warburton golf team to last place in the finals of the City Golf Championship.
